The Signature Jazz
Guitar Pickup.™ The
“S” and “B” Ebonova™ Series: Both “S” and
“B” pickups are naturally-voiced. A good archtop guitar has balance, warmth and
richness. These pickups mirror those same qualities and bring out the true
acoustic essence of a fine guitar. The unique black-flamed Ebonova covers with
the embedded Benedetto logo reflect the natural figuring of the guitar’s tone
woods. S-Series These pickups were designed for the purist who plays a true acoustic archtop without a pickup routed in the guitar’s top. With the “S” installed, the guitar isn’t, strictly speaking, an electric guitar: it’s an amplified acoustic. Designed to be compatible with steel, nickel and bronze strings.
Description: Pickguard (floating) mount, low profile, humbucking, 6- and 7-string archtop guitar pickups.
B-Series
This is basically a “built-in” version of the S-Series. It maintains the same
natural acoustic qualities of the instrument. According to Bob Benedetto, this
pickup is “the best sounding jazz pickup I’ve ever heard. There isn’t even a
close second.” Description:
Standard mount, humbucking, 6- and 7-string guitar pickups.
A-Series Produces a full, fat, and warm, yet highly articulate, jazz tone.
Description: Standard size, standard mount, humbucking,
6-string guitar pickups with a single row of adjustable pole pieces and a nickel-silver
cover available with choice of gold or black nickel plating.
P.A.F. Series Produces a full-bodied tone reminiscent of the original humbuckers designed by Seth Lover in the mid-‘50s.
